discovery. From there, you travel westward to the serene city of Pokhara (827 m), a jewel
beside Fewa Lake reflecting the Annapurna range. The trail then leads you along the legendary
Kali Gandaki Valley to Tatopani (1,190 m), famed for its natural hot springs, and onward to
Kagbeni (2,804 m)—a mystical Himalayan settlement serving as the gateway to Upper
Mustang. The sacred journey reaches its zenith at Muktinath (3,710 m), a temple revered
equally by Hindus and Buddhists for liberation and purification. After retracing your path via
Jomsom (2,743 m) and returning to Pokhara, the expedition shifts south to the subtropical plains
